HARASSMENT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED-
Onsite Manager will be available to address any issue!

The following behaviors will result in immediate removal from class or the studio:

❌ Any harassment toward women or men

This includes:

❌ Inappropriate Physical Contact

Partner dancing requires touch, but only in approved dance positions.
Any touching beyond that — especially touching private areas or holding someone too tightly — is forbidden.

❌ Ignoring Boundaries

If a partner says “no,” “stop,” “that’s uncomfortable,” or tries to adjust distance, their boundary must be respected immediately.

❌ Harassment or Disrespect of Any Kind

This includes rude comments, pressure during partner dancing, or making anyone uncomfortable.

❌ Unsafe Conduct

Reckless dancing, attempting lifts/dips without permission, or ignoring safety instructions.

❌ Interrupting or Undermining the Instructor

Side teaching, correcting others aggressively, or disrupting the class. Trying to teach students when you are a student.

❌ Poor Hygiene That Affects Others

Strong body odor, excessive perfume, or not maintaining cleanliness for partner work.

❌ Bringing Food or Drinks (other than water) on the Dance Floor

Helps protect the floor and keeps the studio clean. We will provide water.

❌ Bullying, Gossip, or Negative Energy

We maintain a welcoming, positive community—no exceptions.

❌ Alcohol or Substance Use Before Class

Anyone appearing under the influence will be asked to leave immediately.

HARASSMENT POLICY & APPROPRIATE GUIDELINES

RESPECT & SAFETY COME FIRST

Our dance studio is a zero-tolerance environment for harassment, intimidation, or any behavior that makes another person uncomfortable. Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued—especially during partner dancing, where physical contact is required.

1. Arrive On Time

Being late disrupts the flow of the class. Please be ready to start at the scheduled time.

2. Come Prepared

Wear appropriate shoes, comfortable clothing, and bring water. No street shoes on the dance floor.

3. Respect Personal Space

Avoid bumping into others, and be mindful when practicing turns, footwork, and partner work.

4. Practice Good Hygiene

Use deodorant, avoid strong perfumes, and keep hands clean for partner dancing.

5. Listen to the Instructor

Stay attentive, avoid side conversations, and follow instructions promptly.

6. Rotate Partners QUICKLY When Requested

If it’s a partner dance class, participate in rotations to ensure everyone has a good learning experience.

7. Be Kind & Encouraging

Dance is for everyone! Support your classmates and avoid criticism or negative comments.

8. Stay Safe & Know Your Limits

Do not perform dangerous moves or lifts unless specifically taught and approved. This will not be allowed.

9. Communicate Respectfully

If you have a concern, step away, speak politely to the onsite Manager.
